Cultures About Us - Scotland

This week we have been looking at Scotland.  We had Calum Duncan come in dressed in his Scottish Kilt.  He showed us lots of things from Scotland, including some money, a dagger, a sporran, and some flags.  He also told us lots of interesting information about Scotland.

Then we had Cassie Duncan come in and take a group to make traditional Scottish Shortbread.

This was a bit tricky for some of us, so we had great teamwork to finish them

We talked about Fractions with our shortbread.  Each circle was cut into eighths and we worked out we needed three circles to have enough for everyone.
